850 steering play

I have the dreaded speed wobble going on on braking, I've started replacing the upper and lower control arms, the steering link, the center link, tie rods...

I've noticed some play in the steering box, can this be adjusted by tightening in on the bolt that controls backlash? Any advice would be appreciated....

Are you SURE it isn't the brake discs? You have changed so much and nothing has changed the shake.

Here is a link to an online 1994 BMW manual on a BMW site. It should discuss what that nut does on the box. On GM steering boxes, the nut on manual boxes will tighten up the play, but on power steering boxes, all it does is add friction.
