Luggage 2 Straps for Trunk

Anyone know what is the correct/right part# of the elastic strap(s) that are strapped to the trunk’s (4 plastic slots) middle floor? I see them on a YouTube video review. When I purchased it CPO it wasn’t there. Ref: 2014 BMW X1 sDrive28i.

I thought I saw some on eBay, but when I submit the “Does it fit for your vehicle?” it said no even though X! was part of the product title; I guess it meant for the xDrive NOT sDrive(?).

Getting the correct part is as easy as looking it up in one of the online part database sites using your VIN to get the correct diagrams specific to your model/model year/build date. Once you have the correct 11 digit BMW part number based on your VIN...then you can simply type "BMW xx xx x xxx xxx" into a google search box to find vendors that are selling the correct part you need.

As you've found out...if you search generically by looks or name...you may be able to find the part...but it may not be the correct one for you model/model year/build date.

Below is the diagram (and link to the part database) using the info you gave for a 2014 X1 28i...you need to shop using the part number for item #14. If you click on #14 (in the part number index below the diagram at the site)...the site will reveal what other BMWs use the same part...this can be helpful if looking for used items. It can allow you to expand the BMW models to look at as possible donors:

My wife's X1 (2013 3.5 xDrive) has the 2 rubber straps. BUT, I also have an elastic "net" that attached to the cargo area clips. The new keeps loose items (like bags of groceries) secure but easy to remove. The net was one I had kept from the trunk of one of my earlier BMWs when I traded it. I knew it would come in handy!! I've seen "universal" luggage nets in auto parts stores that could also work for you. IF I get some time tomorrow I'll snap a picture.

ECS TUNING HAS THEM FOR 10 buck each. I think I have 4 or 6 from past BMWs. Never really used these straps. I usually have a cargo mat over them
