Water spilled in trunk 320ix 2014

Greetings I have an accident that spilled about 3 gallons of water in my trunk last week. I tried to make it dry as much as I could by pumping the water out of the compartment where the electronics are and use tons of paper for absorbing. but never blew with dryer. Here are the issues:
-The iDrive & radio die (blackout). /// It came back to work after 2 days. and work perfectly!
-Both of the windows in the back are malfunction (won't go up or down).
-The trunk won't open.
-The tail signal won't blink when turning, the front would blink rapidly.
-The brake signal works fine
-connected drive on apps is not working
-the car start run fine
I went to the local mechanic for basic inspection, they said my whole control module is fried and need to be replaced and reprogram. They suggest me to trade-in instead of repair it??
I appreciated the help. Thanks!

Try drying the trunk with a fan. A chance of reviving other electronics.

A chance only. Modules are quite sealed, high concentration water diffuses in easily, low concentration vapor barely diffuses out. Plenty of time for corrosion.

I went to the BMW dealer. They said I have a short in K-can, and it should be an easy fix for them.

Thanks for followup. Make sense dealer/tech also check for any corroded connectors and such and replace as needed.
