Rounderman, thanks. I appreciate your suggestions. Acura had not been on my list, but I added it and will indeed plan to drive one. This is all going to be somewhat of a learning curve for a guy who's still driving and used to 1995 technology. By the way...where in Rochester? I have family that live in Chili, and I get up there at least once a year to see a doctor over on South Clinton Avenue. My daughter and son-in-law recently took us for dinner at the "Dino BBQ"...quite a place! The other one we went to is TRATA.

Yeah--the Kia Cadenza blows the Regal GS away.

Seriously or facetiously? I know I"m a pretty tough customer to please....color is a big issue too. Nothing in black or white - inside or out.

BMW paint is not bad, BMW certified body shops told me that from factory there are 3 coats of clear to take abuse from polish/buff/car wash(and the shops do the same for refinished surface).

My leaning is usually towards black and black, but the BMW metallic color can be quite interesting. The best paint selection seems to be Porsche though.

I can't believe Bimmerfest has devolved to this.

I think you should review those "terms of use" also.....

To all....I will be leaving the forum having been a victim of severe verbal abuse here. Thanks to all who were helpful and informative. Unfortunately, I know now I'll never be able to even test drive one of these cars since I'd always be reminded of what happened on this forum. The thought of a potential BMW purchase has been ruined for me. So, overall, guess it would have been best to not even actively engage in forum discussion. Best wishes....

This thread has gotten ugly for no good reason. Despite the OP's broad posts, there's no need for personal attacks. It has outlived its usefulness. Locked.
