OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

Mein Auto:
Im having the same problem with my X5 E70, the same code and my 4x4! and DSC lights are on, the fwd is disabled so its rwd only, i replaced my TC motor with no luck, so its not that, the original one didnt even have stripped teeth, im also getting code 55C6 "Message (wheel speed, 0xCE) error, receiver VTG, transmitter DSC" but im guessing thats just because the dsc module is confused cause its rwd, i've opened the oil plug on the TC where i could see the chain and it seemed like it had good tension and when i hand turned the front driveshaft the chain moved so i think the TC is fine and both front wheels moved aswell so the front drive must be fine. So now im thinking that its the transfer case module, although from what ive read its very rare that those fail. is it possible that its a bad battery? can i lose fwd just because of that?

Specs: X5 E70 3.0D 2009 driven: 122.xxx km
