2014 528i Bad Engine Vibration when Cold - Engine Mounts?

Hi everyone - new here. I have a 2014 528i with 66K miles. When cold and only in drive, I have really bad engine vibration and it's getting worse. Once the car is fully warm, it does get better and is almost unnoticeable, but in the morning/winter time, it'll take a while to fully get warm so in the mean time, the whole car is rattling and shaking.

It only happens in drive and only cold. Not in park, not in neutral and not in reverse. Once I get past 20 mph or so, it goes away. Dealer has told me twice (the first time back at 51K miles) I need new engine mounts, but of course, that's not covered under the CPO and they quoted me $1,400.

On occasion, I do feel/hear something kick in and it goes away or slightly gets better, but that's few and far between.

Since it doesn't rattle in park, neutral, or reverse, engine mounts just don't sound right?

Any ideas?

Thank you
