May have lost my mind, but.....

....I'm going to try wrapping the E30. It should be a good body to practice on, since there's not a lot of compound curves or concave areas. Mostly near slab-flat with simple accent lines on the sides. I'm tired of trying to keep this cheap paint buffed. You live and learn.

Color will be bright red, very similar to Hellrot. It's 4mil 3M 1080 film I got really cheaply.

I also got myself a Ruger for my birthday a few months back.

How's that 20v Dewalt been working, Karl? Been looking for a cordless impact for a while and it seems like Dewalt is the best value

Unless like me you have multiple other Dewalt tools.
Totally didn't see these posts until just now... The DeWalt 20V mid-range 1/2" impact has been great. I fully agree that the Milwaukee Fuel is the best right now, but the DeWalts are still very good. I already had some DeWalt 20V stuff, so that's why I went with it rather than getting into Milwaukee. Anyhow, the DeWalt has been performing excellently, and has more than enough power to zip off lug nuts and rusty hardware. 600ft.lbs. of breakaway torque in a small package is pretty awesome.

On the topic of impacts, I just bought the Milwaukee M12 Gen2 1/4" impact last week. That sucker is a little pocket rocket!

Bummer of a Monday

Monday went pretty well until this evening. I was driving from our house to our old house and felt a big thump. I knew right away what it was. My dog, Ranger, has played Russian Roulette with cars the whole 7 years we've had him. Tonight he lost. Goodbye, little buddy!

Sorry to hear this, Ken.

Growing up, my best friend had a dog that would always chase us about a quarter mile or longer down the road as we left. She got hit at least once by someone, but lived. Some dogs just love to take chances with cars as if it's a sport. Nevertheless, RIP Ranger.
