Problem with F32 Angel Eyes

Hello to all,

As this is my first post I am not entirely sure I am posting in the correct section but if an admin could forward my thread or direct me to the right place I would be more than happy to correct that issue.

Anyway,

I have a 2015 BMW 428i thats giving me some trouble with the front left angel eye.

The issue that I am experiencing is that if I turn the ignition on, initialize the angel eyes with my AUTEL scan tool they will illuminate and work perfectly fine. I can go through all four light settings and everything will be fully functional. However, if I turn the ignition off and then back on, only the passenger side angel eyes will work. The main Xenon Low and High beams are working on both sides, just the driver side angel eyes will illuminate for maybe 1-2 seconds and then turn off again. I can flash them with the scanner and everything will work until i turn the car off.

Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction as I am pretty confused at this point.

Since your car is still in warranty, why not go straight to the dealer?

The right direction for this is a trip to the dealer, since your car is under warranty.... this is, unless you swapped out lights yourself or something. Is your car stock? If so, why have you not taken it to the dealer (thats what the 4 year 50k mile warranty is for)?

Agreed. Stop racking your brain on this. Make an appointment, get a loaner, and let the professionals take care of it.
