ICOM Ports Not Open for e-sys - K001 Motorbikes

I've spent hours trying to work this out and searched in here....trying not to rip out what little hair I have left lol

Using a ICOM A2 clone that worked perfect in the past with ISTA+ and e-sys 3.27. Still working with ISTA+ 4.23 but e-sys not connecting.

The previous port I used was 50160 but I can see it is not open on the ICOM. Neither is 52410.

Open ports are: 22, 80,5302,6801,6802,51560,58000,60080.

I tried using 51560 but not go.

Application firmware is 1.45.00.

Anyone seen this before?

Always used port 50160 with no problem at all. What does iTool Radar say?

Figured it's easier to show it. Tried reserving and not reserving..

I never had to use it before in the past and was able to connect to the ICOM unit with e-sys

I remember changing that a couple years ago while trying to get a K+DCAN working.

Why would cause the issue though? I can't see anywhere on the ICOM itself to change any ports and it's the ICOM itself that should be listening on 50160 right?

ICOM Ports Not Open for e-sys

I canít comment exclusively as my ICOM worked without changing any settings. Try it? Or change the EDIABAS port back to 50160. Then see what iTool radar reports. Iím not familiar with these changes, just thought Iíd offer some help.

Just tried that and no change. For whatever reason, the ICOM is not listening on 50160 or 52410

I don't see what this has to do with it if I am connecting to the IP of the ICOM directly? tcp://169.254.92.38:50160

I checked on another laptop that doesn't even have Ediabas installed and iToolRadar shows the same exact thing. Appear the 6801 port you see in the screenshot is actually the listening port on the ICOM itself. You can see it listens on 6801 and 6802 on it's webpage

Ok, well that rules out the ediabas file. So have you logged onto the icom using the web interface?

Read that too but doesn't mention how to fix it. No firewalls or anti virus running on either computer I tried it on.

It's already running 1.45.0 application firmware. Might look at a restore

I tried reserving with ItoolRadar already but if it's not listening on 50160 I don't see what difference that will make.

Suppose I could look at Easyconnect just to rule it out

Ok finally got this damn thing working lol

My bike is a 2016 R1200GS so has the round diag plug for reference.

I had to use 'Connection via ICOM/D-CAN' instead of 'Connection via ICOM/Ethernet'. I was sure I has used the ethernet option in the past but oh well.

Port 52410 was still dead on the ICOM but I scanned the bike with ISTA+ completing the full vehicle test and could see that port 52410 was finally open. Then just used tcp://169.254.92.38:52410 under Connection via ICOM/D-CAN and it connected right away.

Reserving the ICOM in iToolRadar did not open port 52410 on the ICOM.

Would be good to know about the inner workings of the ports.
