Finally picked up my 2014 Valencia Orange x35i MSport

and it's as beautiful as I imagined it would be. The color on this car is what got us in the door and what my wife fell in love with. I got the engine choice

Kept it a pretty basic driving machine:
2014 VO x35i MSport
19" summer tires (ride GREAT - not too harsh at all)
Paddle Shifters (standard with msport pack now)
Black leatherette interior (very happy with the sport seats)
Aluminum crosshatch interior trim

x35i had all the other bells and whistles standard - xenon headlamps, sunroof - that pushed us over from an s25i. That and the engine just sounds awesome. I can't wait to rev it up more once past break in. The whole car feels like a rocket just waiting to launch. I've decided to keep eco pro mode on during break in to help keep me out of trouble.

Stock stereo also is pretty good! Not mind blowing, but pretty good. Iphone control could use some work. Here I will concede the benfits of idrive (I don't have it) - or perhaps just software glitches. My car display seems to lag what is happening on my iphone 4s

Very nice. I like VO a lot too, but I've been pining for a blue like Le Mans for a long time.

Now you're making me regret choosing the 28 but I just have to keep telling myself that it's still plenty of power and even though I don't put many miles on, I just wanted to see better fuel economy than I got from the wrx. Dunno why, really. Enjoy it!

Yeah...I kind of snuck those in. The wheelwells beg for something bigger. The 19's seemed to fill them better. The cost also seemed pretty reasonable for the upgrade and so far I am not disappointed.
I live in Southern California, my roads are good all year, yet I let myself get talked into the wheel protection package. I figured if I went through a couple sets of summer tires in the next few years - which doesnt seem unreasonable - it would pretty much pay for itself and give a little piece of mind. Who knows...but that finance guy who talked me into it really had his stuff down. I appreciated the whole experience.

Yes, it is Riverside and no, I did not notice a white X5. Of course that doesn't mean its not there - I was pretty focused on my baby.
The dealer seems to have massive amounts of cars (land is cheap(er) out in Riverside) and poor inventory control. My car was sitting at Port Hueneme for over a week before they figured out it wasn't in Riverside yet. I'd call and bug your CA.

Awwww... It was just to make it look pretty.
They did't let me keep it, although I'm sure the cost was included in the wheel protection program.

I bugged my CA weekly for two months. They wouldn't give me the VIN info until the car was almost here, and then the car got forgot at the port once it arrived in the US. When they finally called me in it was waiting for me right up front in the lobby with the nice big bow that I never saw again. ....And that was ok with me.

I love the Valencia Orange. Your car looks great - even naked (i.e., without the bow)! Would have gotten Valencia Orange, but my wife had veto power. Ended up with the mineral grey, which I do like very much.

Thanks! If I had seen a mineral gray before a VO I would probably have gone with that. Definitely on the drool list for me, but I had the opposite issue: my wife loved the VO.
No arguing here either
