X1 lack of power when accelerating

2012 X1 at 79k when I push hard on the gas pedal it takes few seconds for the car to gain its power and also when the windows are down I can hear like " hissssss" noise from passenger side window every time I push hard on the pedal.

What's it like in sport mode?
The hiss could be the turbo.

That's the stupid drivetrain programming. Turn off TC and punch it (not enough to slip the wheels). See if that takes care of the lag.

And then what happened? What did you do? Did you get the code checked?

Could be a vacuum leak. Keep us posted.

My wife had an issue with the turbo activator on her x. It threw a code on acceleration and was repaired under warranty

I got it fixed there was loose piping between the intercooler and turbo pipes but also now I have another problem yesterday I was driving on sport mode and when I accelerated to take over ( full gas) the rpm went down and the car lost power and " engine malfunction " warning came out as well as the engine light first it was flashing then it was solid, when I came to a stop the car started to shake. So I turned it off turned it back on " engine malfunction "warning was gone but the engine light is still on

The check engine light will clear after a few startups if there is no new engine code.
Go to the dealer or an autopart store and get the code read (all autoparts stores will do this gratis) before the code clears.
You can google the code (or post it here and someone will interpret it for you). Likely a turbo problem from how you described it
