Hello, purchased an X1 saturday

Hello all, moving to this subforum from the Gran Turismo forums. Selling my 550GT today to Carmax. My wife got a Cayenne S last year and it has taken over the role of primary family car on weekends.

I decided to take the plunge on a 2017 911 Carrera 4 to daily drive, and have a third car for when the 911 wasn't the right car for the situation and for my soon to be driving teenage daughter to learn on. After lots of test drives and thinking (I was leaning towards the VW Golf GTI but daughter thought that was a "boys car") it came down to a new mini-clubman or CPO X1.

I'm very happy my daughter liked the X1 - mostly based on features. One drive in it was enough for me to decide its an ideal city car, small enough to be maneuverable, enough power to drive in LA, good for taking the dog hiking with the family. Only missing blind spot monitors.

The specifics -- 2015 X1 Xdrive 28i Msport. Lemans blue over sand beige. Ultimate package and xenon lights. CPO Elite with 8.2k miles, for $30k before TTL. Fun car and struck me as a great value.

I also got my daughter an x1 35i msport ultimate. She loves it and is very safe with the AWD. I have a tune for it and we autocross together occasionally with my Porsche. Fun quick car to run around the track with

What tune did you get? The 28 is quick, I'd be worried about my daughter with the six cylinder!

I like driving it, although somehow I'm getting 19mpg.

The tune is a JB4 and was for me and for autocrossing. Still the 35 is plenty quick
