What do you guys do for daylight running lights?

What do you guys do for lights during daylight?

I really like having lights on (hey I'm in Boston, I need all the help I can get). But I have the around-the-corner lights package (Xeon?) and I am a bit concerned about how costly it will be if/when I wear them out.

I could use the standing lights in combination with the fog lights, although I'm not sure that costs much less per hour of driving.

I did a quick search for premade LED daytime lights but I didn't see anything that would fit in a 2004 vert without doing some kind of mounting myself, and I don't think there is a suitable power supply available already in the front of the car.

High-quality angel eyes or nothing. LED strips look goofy. I would sell you my Umnitza Orion V2s, but they're for a pre-facelift Xenon-equipped car.

why use xenons when you don't have to? you can always run the parking lights during the day. during the day i find lights distasteful, so i run my parking lights at sunset and then turn on the xenons when the time permits.

you can always put in angel eyes

Personally, I think DRLs are friggin` retarded, it`s like driving forward with a reverse warning beeper going constantly . If it`s something you just HAVE to do, parking lights should get the job done with the least amount of problem....

The default DRL's in my E92 are the angel eyes, which I switched out to LED bulbs, and it is both functional and eye - catching!

DRLs use the halogen high beams at a lower setting, not the Xenon lights.

A dealer (or someone with a laptop equipped with NCSExpert or similar) can turn them on for you. It's one of the car/key memory options.
