haha true, it doesnt work because it cant for enough air into the engine to make a difference and dynos from a couple of mags ive seen shows it doesnt do anything cept lower horsepower at some points, the fan blades create a hinderence in the air flow making it better to go without - its like sitting behind a big fan and blowing into it hoping to create more airflow when its more likely your head is just getting in the way of what is spose to happen

Yes, it really does work. I've used them on all my cars and I've gotten at least 15% improvement in mpg.

I've never dynoed the car, before or after, but the butt dyno says that I did get some better low end torque.

Does it come with a sticker?

That is always good for a few HP.

I got all of mine in slightly used condition, so no box/instructions/stickers. But I already have hundreds of bimmerfest stickers plastered all over the car already, so I really don't need the little extra hp the turbonator sticker would give me.

...Ah, the new year, which brings us annual BEEP posts, and a regular occurence...of the turbonator thread.

Yes, definitely, these guys are onto something: a $0.25 piece of twisted aluminum inserted into the intake system, that all of the world's engine manufacturers are ignoring...breathtaking.

Don't be such a downer. Go with the flow. Have fun with it.

Yes, it works great!! Just like Slick 50, 5 Star Shine, dealer paint protection and every other automoive scam out there. It's great for stripping you of your $$ for absolutely no benefit.

They've redesigned it for 2008. I'd wait and get the new one. It'll be like a bucket full of awesome.
