Depends. I like limes in my mexican beer (Negro Modelo, Dos Equis XX, etc). Lemon for ice tea but that rarely happens.

If I'm eating them plain then I prefer lemons. In a beverage, if I'm stuck where I can only get mexican beer then I'll put a lime in it. I can't stand lemon slices in my iced tea but I do like to mix about 70 30 tea and lemonade.

Try Lime-Aid ! I think it is made by Minute Maid. You can get it premixed, or the frozen concentrate stuff (usually the store brand is the same thing). We always have one on hand. It's a nice break from lemonaide.

Got a Sonic restaurant near you? Get their route 66 cherry limeaid. It's like 3million ounces of goodness. Dumping a ton of vodka in it ain't a bad idea either. Great summer drink. That used to be our "concealed" beverage of choice in highschool when we were out cruising the main drag looking for women to harass.

I grew up in a lime only culture, so it is lime for me.

There is nothing better than super chilled limeade.

WalMart now sells a premium not-from-concentrate limeade from Mexico, they use high pressure pasteurization rather than the usual high temperature process, as close to fresh squeezed as you can get

I still prefer lemon over lime in most things though, including lemonade
