That was my government issued Kodak digital camera with 1.2 megpixels!!! I couldn't believe they gave me a clear orange colored one. When was the BMW design center open house in Newbury Park, CA? 1999?

I'm user #762, or thereabouts.

I waited till March of 02 to jump ship from Roadfly (where everyone hung out before the 'fest was started) and come here.

I remembered thinking I'd wait it out a bit to see if Bimmerfest would ever catch on

I guess it did.....

Aha the design center open house, I'm trying to get an audience there, my buddy at Blue Cross will warn me when they have an open house again so I can attend, they are right down the road and always get invites...

I'm numero 141, I think, joined in 2001. I never really posted much, but I was on here quite often the first two years... going through this thread and seeing some of the names brought back good memories.

Guten tag!

I was in Munich this February, by the by! Good country you've got there, AlexB (unless you reside somewhere else nowadays) Too bad my rental Audi wouldn't go above 200

Was planning to go to actual Bfest this spring too (hence me checking in here), but that's been scrapped already, hopefully next year.

Anyways, good to see y'all are alive and well

Cheers.
