Squealing brakes

I changed my front pads and rotors about 15,000 miles ago and it appears the brakes only squeal when the weather gets cold (ie below freezing temp). The squealing happens in the last few seconds as you come to a stop. Very annoying for me and the people that ride with me. Rotors and pads were from BMW.

Wondering if others have had this issue previously and if they were able to rectify it.

Thank you.

Did you put the hi-temp disc brake grease where indicated?
Did you properly replace the springs?

I did not replace them myself, I had an Indy mechanic I have worked with for more then 2 decades do it, I could ask him. Can you add the high temp grease after the fact? I have replaced pads and rotors on my other vehicles and never used high temp grease, but the BMW I leave to people more expert then myself.

Also supposed to use the grease.
For my X5, this is the procedure:

Yours will be the same probably, but pull up your TIS to be sure.

It is actually easier then on some cheap cars to do brakes.
