Fuel Door

does anyone have issues with their fuel door not opening?
mine was giving me a hard time then decided to stop working.
When i wash my tuck i wash the inside of the fuel door, so i'm thinking i might have washed some lubrication on the part that springs the door open?
i can get it open with a plastic pry tool but it has to go in to get fixed just wondering if this is a common issue.
Thanks.

X7 fuel door latch

Had this problem on first fuel up. Specific spot to press is on crease about 1 inch in from back of fuel door. It is a rotating latch that requires at least a 1/2 inch movement, more like one inch. Rotates 90 degrees each time you fully depress!
