Here's my new X1 castle shot at Fussen germany May 30th.

I gave up car in Munich Jun 11th, but still hung up in Brunswick, Ga.

I was told by my SA that It would be at my dealer July 29, but she can't verbalize where it is held.

Anyone having trouble stuck in Brunswick?

yeah, it was a blast, especially when the red 130 km speed limit sign goes silver, and all the VW, Mercedes, and BMW station wagons start passing at 140 mph. My minder only liked up to 120 mph, and as an M Sport with staggered 9 x18 Pirelli P7 summer tires, it had really good grip.

Even with the first week of monsoon rain and the second week of corresponding flooding it was all good.

Now if I can jus haz my car, I can go on a SW US road trip.

Dropped mine in Paris on June 4. Still at VDC in Oxnard. 11 weeks now since drop off. I feel your pain.

Ok, good to know.

I just heard about the servotronic being standard on cars in 33rd week of 2013, and maybe some that weren't delivered, yet.

It seems that BMW is good at updating cars when they have them, and maybe they are updating servotronic software on one like ours not delivered.

Do you mean Oxnard, Ca, but you live in Denver? You must have gone on a shopping trip for your car. How was your ED trip and buying experience?

I bought locally but all Colorado-bound EDs go through Port Hueneme and the VDC in Oxnard, CA.

ED experience was awesome. 2.5 weeks of fun and adventure with my wife and two daughters traveling through Germany, Austria, Italy, and France. Despite the long wait for the car stateside, it was completely worth it.

However, it's hard seeing all these posters with car in hand already while I'm still waiting for mine. I started the purchase and trip planning process last November so this approach does require patience.

I've a road trip planned for Sept, and will need it then, or I guess I can go in my RX8 that just got demoted.
