Mein Auto:
won't start

crank but won't start. Test feul pump ok. replace crank sensor . Test voltage on crank sensor 0 volt. Where can i look for the fuse or problem. 1997 e36 bmw 318is

The crank sensor generates it's own voltage. If you're reading zero volts when the crank is turning, the sensor is dead, regardless it being new.

It generates inconsistent voltage. Most meters may not be quick enough to read the pulses by the crank sensor.

With a good scanner you should be able to read the live data and rpm while cranking. If it reads anything, its probably good.
