New car help!

I am close to buying a 2009 Z4 sDrive35i with 100k miles on it. i have owned the 08' 335 convertible as well as a '12 x5 xDrive50.

Loved the 335 but the x5 was a maintenance headache. What are y'alls thoughts on the sDrive35? And will these engines / trans last to 150k ?

My sDrive35is has been a great car. Only have had to replace wear and tear items like oil and brake pads also fresh set of spark plugs. Enjoy your new ride !

Hi, I own a 3.0 Sdrive, I bought it with 80,000. I got it from a dealer online. I had him change the oil, tires, etc. I had it shipped from Pa, near Philly to my home in NH. I had the coolant changed, and both rear end oil, and auto transmission oil changed plus filter. The transmission fluid is by BMW "lifetime" well for my car it looked like fluid tar. After the change the car shifted much smoother and seems to be less jerky. I just did a front brake job, and changed the brake fluid. I'll be doing the rear brakes in the Spring. New Hampshire has a really tight inspection, so if the car passes the inspection all would be good. I would drive the car in regular, and sport and listen closely for strange noise in the shocks and springs when turning both right and left. The suspension changes electronically when in sport mode, and the shocks are costly to replace. Check with the current owner if he has any receipts for service and repairs. Good luck with your new Z.
