Video: N54 E61 vs Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon

My friend recently picked up a 12' E63 AMG Wagon with the P30 Performance Package, it's stock 550hp 590tq crank.

My E61 is RWD converted, manual swapped, has M5 everything minues the S85, runs Hexon RR550 turbos, ethanol fuel, and a bunch of bolt ons. I have made 550whp 530wtq but the wagon is turned down to 21psi currently.

35-40mph rolls, I stared in 3rd in every gear (in retrospect I should have been in 2nd) AMG owner was trying different gears. Whoever got the jump essentially held the lead, I might have had a tiny advantage up top but hard to tell since the AMG let off a bit early. Either way, fast wagons and good times!

Evan

Your car looks/sounds awesome.

1. How much did the manual swap run you?
2. Do you have to remap and change a bunch of stuff for CA smog?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

1. I didn't keep track and I also had upgraded parts like a Spec Stg 3+ clutch and MFactory chromo flywheel so it would be be an accurate anyway. Most people spend ~$3k on a manual swap.
2. This info will stay my info
