Can I cancel Ultimate Care+ in Texas?

My dealer didn't give me a copy of the Ultimate Care+ contract. I wanted to read all the T/C.

If I paid for it, am I stuck with it forever in Texas? I didn't have the cost figures in my head when I was doing the contracts last week and didn't have the foresight to look up the information on my ipad/phone. I figured that I'd have the right to cancel if there was an issue (like with wheel/tire in the past), but now I'm finding that I may not.

Not sure if you got an answer yet, but I was able to get a refund last year, but I was in one of the states that allowed it (i've since relocated to TX). According to the contract I had, a refund could only be had in AL/AK/CA/IL/ME/MD/MN/NH/NJ/SC/VT/WI and Puerto Rico.

Refund eligibility is full refund within 60 days, otherwise pro-rated less $25 admin fee so longer as no services have been rendered on the vehicle (that would be covered by the policy). Request has to be made in writing to the selling dealership.

Pretty sure the MAINTENANCE plans cannot be cancelled anywhere. No 30 days, no 5 days..no nothing.

Extended WARRANTY plans CAN be cancelled, and vary by state.

But this info is based on prior years, not current.

When I go to a closing, for ANYTHING, I will not proceed unless I have TWO piles of documents. Every piece of paper I am handed to read or sign, I make sure I have a copy. NEVER trust the finance thief when they say "oh we'll give you copies", All they do is give you the minimum legally mandated. And of course never buy anything you don't fully understand, like a maintenance plan....

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells

As I mentioned above, unless something has changed in the past 8 months or so, you could cancel the ultimate care maintenance plans provided you live in certain states and you have not yet utilized the benefits.

Unfortunately OP lives in Texas and is SOL.
