Comparison between Super Bright and Normal LED Drls

Hey Guys,

Long time lurker but registered now to solve my confusion.

i used the search but didn't come up with a resolution.

Just like many guys, i am trying to replace the dirty yellow DRL lights on my 328i xDrive 2014 model.

There are many negative review for iJDMtoy's lights on amazon, so i stumbled upon highperformancebulbs.com after reading a post here.

So i am looking at these 2 bulbs right now:

http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/...ed-bmw-vw.html

http://www.highperformancebulbs.com/...white-led.html

These both are PW24W compatible to replace the DRL's.

i also emailed steve on highperformance website, they recommend the first link with super bright LED's.

Only thing i am confused is, do these bulbs get super hot? will they melt my drl housing?

After replacing these i am planning to replace the main headlights with philips h7.

Right now my ride is at the service centre coz i am upgrading the combox and painting the wheel hubs because they were rusty.

oh i see you guys like pics.

Here are few attached.

Thanks!_a__a2_

Hey i know this is really three years late, on that company located in Sparta, NJ the Highperformancebulbs.com, i am interested in how that company is now. I saw some bad info on them from a Bimmerpost on a lawsuit or so, the reason i ask now is i wanted to upgrade to their LED amber DRL's but they are abit pricey at $50 and didn't know if they are legit since its off a Yahoo Ecommerce site..

P.S. Also the reason your pic got uploaded sideways was its over the allotted amount of KB space, you will have to resize them down more and they will upload correctly, had that happen to me and just figured it out why...
