Bmw Transmission

Trans worked fine one day, next day I went to drive and it drove fine in the driveway but once I got to the road it wouldn't move in any gear. Since then the trans has been funky. Sometimes it's like it has no problems. Hasn't been that bad since. Anyone know what that could be?

Start by having the error codes read.

What model? Year and mileage? Service history? You need BMW codes read and not just generic. I think there must have been symptoms before this.

Secondary air will not cause trans problems so...what are you using to read codes? Maybe you need a better scanner.

Change the tranny fluid and see what happens. Change it twice even if your curious.
