I have both installed, makes a big difference with throttle response and the sound is amazing. Shaves 0-60 time by .5 seconds.

Mppk

Just picked her up from dealer all I can say is wow sounds awesome especially on the cold starts throttle response is amazing truck feels like a different truck I had to look at my truck again and make sure it was mine lol thought I was in a 50i when I dropped it in sports mode !!! lol Iím absolutely satisfied at this point if u havenít done the upgrade to exhaust and the tune get it done u wonít regret it !!! Only thing now is I gotta see how my gas mileage will be affected at this point but the way she sounds with the growl on upshifts and burbles on downshifts donít really think I care lol

@ bigmac f02+g12 I'm getting mine done this weekend, wasn't much of a fan of the MPE but I may consider getting it done.. do you feel the difference in eco and normal as well with the MPPK?

To be honest with u i read most of the pots on here about it and most say they hear it most or the best on sports mode and sports plus I would have agreed with that statement but just now I was riding along a nice quiet road on my way home and I put it in eco mode and that exhaust got louder than it did earlier today in sports mode so I donít know if something is wrong with mine compared to everyone elseís but I could really get use to eco mode now !!!

The sports or sports+ is for the bubbles, burbles or popcorn maker

If you're really brave.... it's going to be cold motor... tomorrow morning... roll up the garage door... roll the 4 windows down (power windows lol). Start the motor. Keep it in Park. A few seconds wait is almost sufficient for the motor oil to circulate. We know this is the loudest part of the MPE/exhaust (cold start). Hit the Sports+ mode. Stab the gas pedal like a serial killer to 4 or 5k rpm, and quickly release this gas pedal. You can hear the exhaust snapping (during release)... like getting whiplash or something is about to fall apart. Do it a few times

Finally got mine done! Picked up my x5 this morning.. there is a difference however I'm not that impressed. Maybe it has to be driven some more for the tune to settle in if that even makes any sense. If Anyone got any input or feels the same i'd like to know!

Did u get the MPE ? I recently got mine done had it done about two weeks ago MPPK and MPE and itís a nice bump up at least in my opinion itís not over the top like one of those after market tunes canít lie when I first picked up myf15 I felt like I made a mistake because i got the 35i instead of the 50i but with both MPE and MPPK it makes it feel much more throatier and just enough muscle I did hear from some that once u put some miles in it will improve slightly donít know how true that is !!!!

@ bigmac f02+g12 I didn't get the MPE but I will on my Next oil change service, i'll have my SA set it up for me. I was iffy about the noise it'll make on mornings when I leave for work early, didn't wanna disturb my grumpy neighbors. I know that MPE doesn't add HP, but the growl is definitely worth the money.
Sport mode definitely has its own identity now and I feel it the most there. In comfort mode, I feel As if I still gotta stab on Pedal relatively hard

Yes with both Its definitely a nice upgrade and on a cold start it sounds great I would compare it to about the sound of a m3 when they first did mine and they started it up it made everyone in the service dept stop in there tracks and turn around lol thatís how great it was but funniest thing is u get nice pops and growl from sports mode not bad in comfort but what I find wild is u get a lot of growl in eco mode because of the early shifts just no pops unless u hit gas hard and let go quickly in a nut shell I think they both compliment each other nicely and I think the exhaust does add a lil more pep to the power kit in my opinion

It's been 2 weeks since my MPPK update. I am impressed with the final results. I'm guessing it took a few gas refills for the tune to really season into the engine. HP / TORQUE gains are very noticeable and makes the truck very fun to drive in sport or comfort. This is the way an X5 35i should've come directly from the factory.
Gas mileage per gallon is about the same depending on how you drive
Exhaust actually sounds quieter, I'm shopping around for the MPE kit and finishers. If anyone knows anywhere that has it for a good deal shoot me a link or a website!

If u go to mybimmerparts .com look on there page they have them their actually a dealership in md but if u wanna save a few bucks look for them on eBay !!! On there eBay page they sell the exhaust and finishers together as a kit !!! And itís actually cheaper then what most sell for exhaust alone !!!got mine for about a grand most want from what Iíve seen from 1-1.3k just for exhaust and another 350-500 for finishers
