Rotor upgrade

Hey All,

I'm in the process of doing my brakes. New pads (Akebono) and rotors (Stoptech). The calipers are stock. Does anyone know if the front rotors for the 1.9L are the same as for the 2,8L?

Thanks
Matt

use realoem.com to check part numbers but I'm pretty sure the 1.9 is way different.

Also no need to go all crazy with stoptech rotor's plain OEM blanks give plenty of stopping power

No help on the rotor fitment but I do encourage a slotted rotor done right with the Akebono pads. Add a set of SS brake lines & you will have great pedal feel.

Why a slotted rotor?

About the only thing they do for street use is to increase the pad wear.

Thanks for the input. They are different rotors for the 1.9 and the 2.8.
