HELP! Stuttering/Jitter/Hesitation During Acceleration

Hello. I am ready to pull my hair out with this and need some input.

I have a 2008 BMW 335XI.

Experiencing Hesitation/Stutter During Acceleration Between 2000-3500 RPM. Almost feels like its misfiring really bad.

I have Replaced

Coils & Plugs
Cleaned VANOS
Done Intake Cleaning
HPFP Was Replaced & Recently Checked By Dealer and was OK.

102,000 Miles. Codes Showing are 0029E0(Mixture Too Lean) and 0029E1(Also Mixture Too Lean). My Spark plugs are all white, and this problem was there before I replaced the spark plugs and coils.

Currently I Have Injector Index 5 & 9.

Had car diagnosed by 3 places.

Place 1 - BMW - Said Valve Cover Cracked(But did smoke test and found no leak?)
Place 2 - Steves European - Said Injectors(Said something about 02 sensors leaning out as it was hesitating)
Place 3 - BMW(Different Dealer) - Said Coils, Plugs Since they are aftermarket & Injectors)

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I am having similar issues with my 2011 335is. Have not made any changes yet. Its odd that it happens in this exact Rev range only but if I run through the gears in a spirited fasion it is as smooth as silk.

I plan to change the plugs but not until the spring unless it gets worse. Right now I have this issue 5% of the time or so.

car has 40K miles.

OP, I believe the injectors are covered under a 120k/10yr extended emissions warranty, have you checked with your SA?

I had a similar issue, new injectors and HPFP did the trick. I've been down this road.
  1. Cleaned Vanos
  2. Cleaned both MAP sensors located at the charge pipe and intake
  3. Ran through a bottle of Techron Fuel system treatment
  4. New Bosch plugs
  5. New Delphi coils
  6. Carbon cleaning of the intake valves
  7. Injectors and HPFP

Was [THIS] done?

When BMW gave the diagnosis, how did they verify it to you?

My car finally turned the CEL on. Code was misfire on cylander 2. I ordered a new coil from FPC and will install Saturday. I should just do the plugs at the same time but will wait for warmer weather.

Hey 07335, did the replacement of that coil make a difference?
