Selling my ‘07 e83 with a manual transmission and N52 engine. M-Sport package. About 199,400 miles. It is my daily driver and I love it. I got the car with about 102k miles on it in October of 2013.

An aging BMW is a labor of love. I have spent many weekends wrenching on this thing. My wife and I had our first baby in October, and moved into a little bit of a fixer upper in November. Right now keeping up with the X3 is towards the bottom of my priority list. It needs an owner who loves it as much as I did until I had a son.

The final straw appeared a couple weeks ago- notorious trio of dash lights: ABS/4x4/Brake. The entire transfer case and servo motor was replaced by BMW of Bel Air under warranty in December of 2013 (about $3,500 of receipts on hand). I am guessing it is the actual servo motor this time, I doubt it could churn through two transfer cases in its life. I don’t have the time or desire to diagnose and fix it this time. The car runs great otherwise, but this combo of codes disables traction control/AWD (and hill assist if you care).

The dealer also replaced the fuel pump and filter 2019. A gas station had diesel erroneously put in their high-test tank. Caught the error and did some investigation in under 1 mile. Since their insurance was paying for it, figured I’d take it to the most expensive mechanic I could. Hoping they’d replace the injectors too - but wasn’t needed.

I have done all oil changes using a 5-6k interval with Mobil 1 high-mileage, and have all of those records.

-Air/Cabin air filters as needed.

-I also just replaced the coolant expansion bottle earlier this month, and put a new continental serpentine belt on in December of 2019.

-The tires are very low mileage Nittos that I swapped my brother for when he sold his ‘06 manual x3 late last year.

-New battery in December 2019

-New windshield dude to a couple rock chips in May of 2019 with receipts.

- The car sits on H&R Sport Springs with Bilstein Sport shocks - replaced around 145k miles. I have receipts for the install, and H&R warranty.

- New heavy duty rear camber arms and alignment in mid 2019.

- New starter around 150k.

- New valve cover with all related gaskets, CCV hose,
and new plugs around 175k miles. Coils as needed.

- Drilled and slotted rotors (front) and akebono pads earlier in 2019.

Car is in great shape overall considering mileage and age. Majority of pictures were after a full detail in July 2019 - same condition, just haven’t had the time to clean it up for a new photo sesh.

I will be as honest as I can and answer any questions. But it is an excellent car, and mechanically sound other than the transfer case issue.

A couple other minor things while I am thinking of it. Comes with a new valve cover, and two “emergency coils” (not completely dead but would misfire often enough that I switched them out). I changed out the rear, inner driver’s side taillight because the 3 Factory LED bars burnt out and can’t be replaced. The bulb sockets are good. The URO replacement has a (brake) bulb out. I got pulled over, and since I didn’t have the bulb on hand. And didn’t get around to fixing it I just pulled the sister bulb from the other side. The X3 has 5 brake lights. Figured 3 was good enough for now. The factory taillight will also be included. There is a smaller-than-a-dime rock chip on the hood. It has been there since before I bought the car, never grew in size, but is through the paint. 2 keys, original owners manual, original tool kit/spare/jack/factory removable glove box flashlight. Folder of records/receipts. CLEAN CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. Most important of all... it has a new shift knob!
