Practicles in my oil filter - Metal? Rubber? Plastic?

Changed my oil and oil filter today, oil and filter are ~2500 miles old.

Car is 2000 M5, Februar production, with 160K miles on it.

Opened the oil filter and this is how it looks like -

1. planty of black rubber / **** like substance, it keeps its shape but can roll it to balls with my fingers if i pick it up

2. very few shiny particles, they are tiny, would not be picked up by a mgnet nor could i pick one up from the filter media itself.

qusetions are:
1. should i be worrited about wither of the items?
2. Oil sent to Blackstone, once results come in i will update
3. for the metal practicles, any idea where could they come from?

Alignment here: The Definitive Alignment Thread

OE is Original Equipment aka 'BMW Original Parts' aka 'What you buy at the BMW dealer with a BMW label'

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer... EITHER the company that made the OE part or.... A part this is identical to the OE part, but is sold by the OEM under their own label

OEM is not what BMW sells
