Pissed Off

You know what pissed me off the most about BMW?

The ****ing hub sizes and offsets when you shop for wheels on Craigslist.

Just ranting not look for help.

And you should of heard John ranting while he was doing the E60 hub conversion...
It's bad enough having to deal with different offsets (spacers and longer bolts) but add the hub bore and now you need adapters so you are forced into spacers or hacking up brand new wheels!

I got lucky and ran across a guy in Madison Wisc. that had mostly e39 models. Like 6 in a big hangar.

This guy had it all going on including two airplanes that he had rebuilt himself. Plus a M3 convertible and 2 740is'.

Too many parts to list, but he had exactly what I wanted. Style 37 rims
with good tires and correct offset and
bore.

Refinished them and they turned out great.

OT - is your car in the sig a sport? Hard to tell from the small thumbnail. Looks nice, if it is not, can you post a bigger picture?

EDIT - never mind, I went to Your Garage and see it is (unless you modded it). Very nice.

I see the trouble with E60 conversion. Guess, mine is not bad after all.

Yes, but I'm type that constantly looking for wheels. Have 4 bimmers in the stable.

Thank you. Yes mine is a sport with the real Mtech front bumper and supercharger.

I like the E39 lower offset wheels IMO.
More deep dish wheel lip.

You can have any wheel shop bore out the centers to 74.1 for not too much money. APEX wheels will do it for you, too.
