Would you feel the same way about the engine oil? Only change it if there's some kind of engine issue like a misfire?

I'll chime in that changing the filter is important too, especially at the first service since all the junk since break in is accumulated in there. Proper flow through the filter is critical to proper operation.

FCP has a great kit, well priced with all genuine ZF parts and materials for the 8HPs.

The parts are also free after your first change if you go with FCP. It's great.

The car is running smooth and starts without any hiccups in cold winter times etc. I want to keep the car for 3-4 more years and I need the best advice for the members in keeping my ride soon the riding. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Congrats on hitting 95K miles! I was also wondering what to expect in terms of repairs if I wanted to keep it for another couple of years.

I too, just hit the 90K mile-mark and have done the same work to my car with the exception of the rotors and the axle. I’m guessing it was the front axle that was replaced? My boot tore, so had the axle cleaned and then put a new boot on, but I still have a “fluttering” sound when I cut the wheel hard or when I hit the accelerator.

I am still on the original rotors since I change the pads way before they cut into the rotors. Plus, I just had the battery changed, it ran on the original one until 88K miles, which is not bad at all.

Here is an F10 lifetime maintenance schedule from the BMW Car Club. IMHO, a very useful document.

I got the rotors and pads from FCP Euro. I was sold on their lifetime use and return policy. I got these 4 sets and had them replaced by an Indy. Cost me very less and car feels amazing well.

Any of you ever did the Walnut Blasting? Heard this really rejuvenates the engine. Any thoughts?

I thought walnut blasting is not needed for the N55 engine.
