How new is the battery? Can you hear the fuel pump switch on after sitting say overnight? How long has it been since the car has ran? Distributor index wheel can be cleaned to a degree with smooth file. Have you pulled a plug and check the electrode to see if it's wet? Most non start issues are weak battery, bad ground and bad reference sender on the bell housing.
