F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Thatís about the amount of time the VPC takes to put in a customer-ordered black grill - they were using something like a bolt cutter to cut off the fins, reach in to unclip the original and pop in the replacement, all done in a couple of minutes. The VPC tour is very informative should you ever have a chance to do one - our LA chapter of BMWCCA does one every few years.

Found local German place that will install for $55; sounds like good value to me. Local NJ BMW dealer quoted me $170 (1 hour labor); they are nuts for 20 minute job

$55 is nuts when doing it yourself for free is quick and easy.

hogwash! I didn't need any tool to reach the clips other than the fingers on my hands I already have. No clips ripped or broken off either.

well, if so, I would have charged you $250 plus expenses, shop fees, environmental fees, and taxes.

Sorry - didn't realize I'd switched forums from F30 to F22. I wasn't able to change the E30 sedan grills with just my fingers. Glad the F22 grills seem to be easier, and more so in that I'm happy with what the factory installed!

The car has whatever came with the M Sport package for 2015. Sorry to say I'm old school, preferring silver wheels & a bit of bright work at the front of my BMWs.
