E53 2001 X5 Ac Hot & Cool
I recently purchased a 2001 X5 3.0L I just swapped the motor and some other parts. Car runs great. It does not over heat. I was told that the ac compressor was replaced but I find that hard to believe now. It started off blowing hot heat instantly after charging the system. No I did not over charge the system.... So I replaced the heater control valve. Then the driver side (towards the window) started blowing much better. Not ice cold but cool. The rest are still warm but not as hot as before. I've replaced the expansion valve and ac filter. I've discharged the system and recharged to lower pressure Freon and still no change. I have dual zone ac system. They all come that way so don't ask that obvious question. My ambient temperature is reading correctly. I changed it from C- to Fahrenheit. (Side note* I can look under the car and see the water dripping from the ac low pressure line so I know it's gettin cold but inside the engine compartment under the hood, that same line is not cold and I believe it may be dripping off the condenser...?) I am a mechanic and it's blowing my mind...Can anyone help me with this?? I can't seem to figure out what my problem is...:it's 101 here in Texas and it's killing me.
