In the ZBE module there is a mapping of the buttons, I have never changed it, but they are there.

I guess thats where to look. Or just buy a ZBE that matches the EVO, then you will also get the touch option I guess.

Yes, something else, look after something with button_1 or something like that. There should be a setting for each of the buttons.

cant remember, and do not have the CAFD for my ZBE here right now.

The FDL you need to change is ZBE_HARDKEY_LAYOUT. Newer EVO systems have Com, Map, Nav and Media options. Change that option on the evo and youíll be all set.

Good good!! I updated to Evo recently and bought an idrive controller with the new layout. I spent ages trying to get the buttons working thinking it was a CAFD/flash issue as I flashed it to latest istep, turns out it was as simple as changing that FDL

Why is it needed to change the FDL if you bought the controller that matches ?

Iím guessing because I flashed the EVO and maybe used an FA from a car that had the old controller. The ZBE was from an F30.
