Valve adjustment

I just made a valve adjustment on my e30, when I finished I could not hear the tick tick noise on the head, but after a drive sound came back. Has someone had this issue ? If yes, please let me know how you fixed it.

Sometimes, when the wear pattern changes after you adjust the valves the first time, you need to do it again. It's just a normal occurance with solid lifters. Make sure your oil has the correct content of ZDDP; most newer oils dont have much so it's a good idea to add some more. STP oil treatment is a good source of ZDDP, but there are also other additives and sources.
