Hello!

Please check your shipment i-level in E-sys. Expert mode/VCM, folder master and then i-step read. Then you can see your shipment i-level. In TAL calculation choose this shipment i-level for the calculation and calculate it again. You should get a correct SVT_SOLL and a correct TAL. Flash then the head unit again.

EDIT: Choose this i-level F010-10-09-524 as shipment i-level and calculate SOLL again. The result should be massiv different to your first one.

Hello!

Read VO and activate it, read SVT (read ECU), choose your correct shipment i-level, calculate SOLL.

Hello!

Screenshot from your calculation with the correct shipment level.

I fear that you flashed your CIc with a wrong TAL (wrong shipment level for calculation) and therefore you have to flash it totally new.

I'm surprised because with the saved SVT I managed to flash KOMBI, AMP_TOPHB, EGS, DSC without issues just the HU_CIC is giving me problem

Does anybody know why flashing process won't start? It finishes after 1sec. Trying to retrofit 6WA KOMBI on F11. FA changed to 0311, 6WA added. I don't know KOMBI I-step shipment so I choose closest one. No matter what I try result is same

will this guide work, if I will download latest pszdata for bmw f10 , and try to upload / flash new bin for CIC to update the CIC sw? Shall I somehow backup the origin *.bin file in the CIC in car?

which file do I have to upload to cic exactly ?

thanks

The Guide is good for flashing any and all ECU with E-Sys.

Follow the Guide. There is nothing to backup, and the process when followed will identify what specific firmware files are to be updated on CIC and then will update it.

hello,

do I understand it correct, that if i will download full DATA, and check checkbox "ALL ECU" esys will calculate order which ECU should be updated first, according the dependencies?

and for all ECUS have only check checkboxes: blFlash, swDeploy, cdDeploy, and ibaDeploy?

Anyway i would like to backup that old bin files in ECU, before flashing. just to have the origin sw in cace if anything goes wrong. How can I save the sw from ECUs in car?

Thanks.

Yes.

The only way I know of, is that you figure out your car's I-step, and download from somewhere on the Internet the corresponding psdZdata FULL. You can not save the ECU firmware from the car...

Hello. I'm almost done downloading the files for esus full. Glint to flash whole car but have few qs:

1) do I have to worry about the dependencies if I'm doing the whole car?

2) do I need to lock airbags before flashing? If not when do I do this?

3) on the flashing screen which boxes am I supposed to select?

Thank you in advance!

1) No.
2) No. You will have to lock ACSM after flash.
3) Make check boxes in blFlash, swDeploy, and cdDeploy, and for Head Unit, also check ibaDeploy.

Thank you so much. I have to mention that for some reason I lost the navigation code (its grayed out) but thats not my worry now. I will flash car first then try to get the code. If anyone can help me with that I'd really appreciate it. Thank you
