Hi experts. Need help:

I've done theses two codes:

IHKA Module:
A/C System Remembers Last Setting
3003==>MEMORY_OFF set to aktiv-werte=01
Always Remember Air ReCirculating
3003==>MEMORY_UMLUFT set to: aktiv

And now I can not turn off the A/C. I already undone, but the A/C stilll on, without the possibility to turn off.

Someone passed for something like this?

Thanks!

Could you be more specific? Do you mean only KAFAS2 or in general? It depends very much on the VO of the car. Do you have a list (SVT list) with all ECU's?
Roonster, Shanwn in the picture is the list of my ecuīs please help me.

Anyway, if i buy a Control module for the KAfas with the speed limit info activated, should i need the fsc code too? can i use the old fsc code inside the old used control unit ? regards

You cannot use a Used KAFAS ECU with Donor FSC Codes. There is no Emulator for it, nor any known way to make virgin and use a different set of FSC Codes. And even if so, this would coast you more than just getting an FSC Code for current KAFAS ECU.

Try to Vo Code IHKA (the entire folder, not CAFD file itself).

Right click on IHKA folder > Code.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. It is a protection feature for the climate compressor after coding the IHKA. Let the engine and the climate control run for at least 2o minutes an everything will went back to normal.

Is this a new protection or unique to certain chassis? Every time I have coded HVAC settings, they have worked immediately.

Coding F48

Hi everyone,

I am totally new in coding BMWs. I have experience in coding VAG (VW,Audi,Seat,Skoda) cars, but BMW has different approach. Here are some of the things I would like to change/re-code:

1. Extended Bluetooth 6NS. I read somewhere in this forum, after enabling 6NS the voice control is still not available. Is that correct??
2. Is it possible to keep the lights off when the switch is in "0" position? As you probably know, even in "0" position the lights go on when it is dark. I find this very annoying when I reverse out of my garage (which is dark) while outside it is totally bright.
3. Is there a way to mirror the cellphone screen on the CID screen? I have a Samsung phone.

Can I read / erase fault codes with E-sys software?

Thank in advance

1. Voice Control requires FSC Activation Code.
2. You can adjust headlight sensitivity, that may help with the issue.
3. Not unless you have idrive5 for MiraCast or retrofit something like Bimmertech SmartView.

Ok it doesnt sound very promising though... It's a pity that BMW in the year 2016 does not offer voice commands and screen mirroring of smartphones as standard

Anyway,
Where can you get the FSC code?

What about reading / clearing ECU fault codes? What software would I need?

PM sent for FSC Code source.

You can clear faults with E-Sys Transmitter.

Shawn, Roonster please i need your help and opinion.

I just retrofited to my Mini the automatic folding exterior mirrors.

As my Mini has memory seats i have LIN line to the mirrors , so is near plug and play.

I changed the mirrors, changed the control button in driverīs door , with the folding button, and finally adding 313 to VO and coded ONLY the BCD_BODY unit.

Ok , it works fine and perfectly, but i have a problem since retrofit.

The automatic close and open of the FRONT WINDOWS when hold the open or close button of the key doesn't works. Itīs very strange because the rear window , and the Panorama Glass Roof works fine ,THE EXTERIOR MIRRORS FOLDing PERFECTLY, the faliure is only in the front windows.

My car has also confort access and the door button holding does the same result, only works the rear door windows and the panorama roof.

Obviously before the retrofit this feature worked ok.

What do you think?

Should i code any more unit?

Please any advice or opinion is welcome.

Thanks

Sorry, but I have no idea. I have never even coded an F5x car before. I really don't know anything about them.

Hello, is the initialization of the Windows ok? Does auto up work when you normally close the window by the interior window buttons?

Thanks, all you are right.

I erased the errors in the BCD unit and then made an initialization and now works fine

2TB is a valid option code for an F56.
