Centric Posi-Quiet X5M brake pads are a winner

Hi All,

Super hard to find vehicle specific reviews so I wanted to post this...

Hated the squeeky OEM brakes on our '17 X5M; also they dusted the wheels immediately after a wash. I get it, heavy heavy beast.
- Perspective, my M5 has 60k km still has 8mm on the original front pads... lets not talk about the rear pads and traction control.
- X5M with 30k km had 4mm on the front and back pads.

Purchased the Posi-Quiet X5M Semi-metallic pad set front and back for the beast.

Install went smooth, new sensors, clips, etc.
*** Rear Pads are a little larger than OEM***
- after install, I noticed the rear pads are large towards the wheel hub, if you are NOT buying new discs, make sure to shave the inside of the pads.

Review:
Awesome pads... feel very much like OEM, I really couldn't tell the difference. The very initial bite feels a little less grippy... smooth entry so to speak, but I could very easily be imagining it.

Dusting is much less... every after doing a bedding drive, wheels looked like there were recently washed. Super bonus to have this much less dust.

I'd recommend these to anyone driving an M, not sure why BMW can't do the same...
Andrew
