Pro Nav IDrive

Hey guys can someone shed some light
on settings that are missing in my IDrive??
Lock settings gs are not present and the comfort blink option(blink three times in one touch).
I believe it's a coding issue.
Also can I program Daytime running lights to only switch on Parker's not low beam?
I think prior to purchase last week BMW has updated my IDrive/NAV software and not my maps as requested. But I can't find the software version for the IDrive.
Found maps software it hasn't been done (2009).
Any experts on this dilemma?
Thanks in advance

What color is the iDrive settings? A brown or grey? Brown is the earlier version and a silver/grey means you have the latest update. You'll need to have coding done to get what you're looking for, I'm not sure why the 3 blink indicator option is missing though since even my 06 has that and I also have the DRL setting in iDrive (which is pointless since it just makes the xenons be on at all times in auto mode).

Assuming you have the CCC, there isn't much of a "update" to do. Also, not sure how options that should be there are not.

It is also necessary to ask what country you are in?
Different options for different countries.
Also are you sure it is the Pro version?

Use This link to determine which version you have, sorry the quickest I could find.
https://mca.electricmura.ro/en/blog-...or-nbt-idrive/
I ask you to do this as I think I there is confusion.
Also is your screen the full size of the window?
Things like business version doesn't always get the same options.

My apologies it has code 609 which is CCC PRO NAV. But I read on the net if it had one DVD Drive and another CD drive in fascia it was CCC. I guess because it has 6 stack option in glovebox the CD drive is removed in fascia? Thank you for clearing this up wcr3d.
So as for lock settings missing can I get it back?
CCC I read not much I can do ***x1f614;

No problem, now it goes back to what was said about the brown and gray colors.
Gray being the latest.
I have never heard of options being disabled like you had stated.
I would start with decoding the VIN to find which options it is supposed to have.
There are a number of sites to do this and you can usually be able to save the list as a pdf.

Very confused

Is it possible that BMW have put a typo in for the coding/missing letter? It says 609- which means its a Pro NAV, so according to the link wcr3d has attached (which has helped thank you!) it states 609 is a CCC, 609A is a CIC, but the menu screen is not as described on the site.
I have a menu screen that you scroll through not one that looks like the iDrive toggle (joystick sort of image)- which means its a CCC. It also has the 8 button one DVD drive which they claim to be CIC. The car was built 10/2008 it is an Australian delivered car, is it possible the previous customer retro fitted to a CIC or BMW decided to fit CIC from factory as the car according to the site is just 1 month short of CIC iDrive NAV and BMW did not enter the letter "A" after 609 in the option coding list?

I guess it is possible but highly unlikely.
Your physical description suggests it is CIC.
When I had my e60, it was two disc drives and a cd changer in the glovebox.
As you see there is a big difference in between the two interfaces.
The odds would be better that someone did do a retrofit.
It could also explain your lack of certain categories.

2009 was the change year from CCC to Ci C. I had one. Thought when I bought it that it was a CiC as it visually looked like it. I then found the same as you, on investigation it appears there were a number of cars that had a mix of parts from both, the CCC of old, using up the stock they had with the front and controller off the CiC. Mine still had the double dvd slot tho, so you may have CiC , if you have there was an early software update to it that is required before it can be treated via USB, if yours has CiC, there will be a USB IN THE PASSENGER GLOVEBOX, ignore armrest USB, it's totally different
