E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Misfiring e30 m40 381i

Hi guys im driving e30 318i m40 the car is driving well after 2000rpm i have checked the fuel pressure is ok the timming is ok so im not quite sure about the spark plugs because i just bought the normal ngk. Can the spark plugs be the problem? Please help guys

So the misfire only occurs at <2000 RPM?
Also check injectors, a faulty injector can cause a miss. And all the regular ignition parts (wires, coil, dist.cap, etc.)

Is driving well after 2000rpm like i have to keep the rev above 2000rpm for it to drive if the rev is bellow 2000rpm it cant accelerate at all

At first i thought is the petrol pump but now im sure is not it someone told me about spark plugs because i just bought the normal ngk so i just wanna know what kind of spark plugs do you guys use

Either NGKs or Bosch plugs are fine.

Since it's idling at 600 rpm it's unlikely to be a vacuum leak.
