Are you planning on a doing a "walnut job" to get the gunk that's built up inside the head?
Thank you

I'm eventually going to get CBU cleaning on the block at DUDMD. Shops here in Vancouver charge $3000CAD for CBU cleaning which is insane!!! I can drive down to Seattle (4 hour round trip) and have it done for $500USD.

I inspected ours last night. You can see where some water has dripped, but it appears to be very little at this point. And we've gotten 6" of rain in the past two days, so it was comforting to see it dry. Granted, she spends the nights garaged, but not for 12+hrs during the day.
When I have more time, I will dig a little deeper.

Any chance you guys have the part numbers for those seals being recommended to proactively change?? I can't visualize where exactly those are located.

Might be # 51717169419, #51717169420 & #51717169421 for the 3-piece set of Engine Upper Compartment Partition Bulkheads. Just happened to be looking at them on AliExpress where the low price (40-80$/set) is likely reflective of low quality finish/fitment issue.

2 weeks ago I installed M Sport roof rails on the X5d. I was surprised to find debris stuck between the headliner and roof

What did you paint your rotor hats with? I have used high-temp grill paint before and it doesn't last but a few months.

I bought coated Zimmerman rotors and painted the visible part of the hat with satin black VHT Brake Caliper, Drum & Rotor Paint

Who refinished your wheels, how much did it cost, and how long did it take? I have one that could really use it but the other 3 are fine.
