Bmw 335i stage 2 help

Hi. I am new to this site. I recently bought a 2008 335i coupe. I was told its on stage 2. It has upgraded chargepipe and catless dp, dual cone intakes and blow off valve. First what kind of hp am i realistically getting on 91 oct. I cant find a accurate answer. I wanna go to stage 2 plus but am unsure if the extra power will be that noticeable over stage 2.
How much more power should i expect if i jump to stage 2 plus?
Thank you for all replies.

"stage 2" doesn't really mean anything. What platform is being used to tune the engine ? MHD ? COBB ? Something else ?

Is all the maintenance up to date ? When was the last time it was walnut blasted ? You can easily lose any of the gains made by those bolt-ons simply from having too much carbon build-up.

We also have no idea on the aftermarket brand of any of your bolt-ons.

If I had to guess ? Without knowing any of the variables mentioned, I would guess that between your tune and bolt-ons, you MIGHT be making an additional 75-100 horsepower, on the high end ? That's assuming everything else is running perfectly on the vehicle.

The tune will tell the story. Without that info, who knows?

The stages you speak of seem to align with MHD definitions. Assuming MHD is the tune, a MHD stage 2 tune with the parts you list should be near +100 HP for at least one good pull. "Heat soak" will be an issue without the upgraded front mount intercooler. A stage 2+ in the MHD world means FMIC and an additional tune. That'll free up more HP plus help prevent losing power due to heat soak.

As noted, engine condition will also play a role in power production. On paper, a Stage 2+ on a strong engine with FMIC, catless pipes, etc, should put you at about 425HP, give or take. My guess now is that you are a tad under 400, assuming a Stage 2 MHD tune.

The ungodly torgue is what I love about mine.

+1 to this. I've got a stage 1 COBB tune and that alone changes the torque curve like crazy.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am still at a loss of what to do. Do i just purchase the mhd flash app and buy stage 2 plus map and flash it using my bavarian technic cable? Will that cable even work with other apps than the bavarian technic app?
I remember the previous owner saying
" if you get a intercooler and go stage 2 plus you will have a different animal!"
Was he just blowing smoke? How much more power will i see? I dont race or track...just do short 2 or 3 gear pulls here and there for that rush. And dont abuse car at all. Not a burnout yet ***x1f606;

I believe the Bavarian Technic will work. You just need a USB adapter to connect it to your phone. Yes, purchase what you listed.

The 2+ tune takes advantage of the cooler and denser air charge to produce more power. You get a bit more boost with Stage 2+ also, IIRC.

I did my down-pipes and IC at the same time so I'm not 100% on what the difference feels like. My personal opinion is that if you are tuning your N54, cooler is always better.
