e70 X5 Engine Hot Light

Hi guys, looking for any advice. My E70 2013 X5 5.0 n63 started acting up last week. I got a light on the I drive saying engine hot.

Things I've replaced that didn't fix the issue:
-Mechanical water pump
-Auxiliary water pump
-thermostat
- engine temp sensor

I replaced all of this and it still comes on right when I turn the car on.

I ran live data with my code reader and the engine temp is fine while driving.
The light just comes up then disappears.

Only other thing wrong with the car is that the battery discharge is high.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

It looks like this has happened to others: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=842779

Unfortunately, it looks like you've already replaced all the parts that could cause the problem.

Have you had your battery tested? Low voltage can cause all sorts of random electrical problems.
