F80/F82/F83 M3 and M4 (2015 - Current)
F80 BMW M3 sedan, F82 BMW M4 coupe and F83 M4 convertible forum. This 5th generation M3 and all new M4 features a 3.0 liter twin turbo engine (engine code S55) 425hp and 406lbs of torque! Heavy use of light weight materials makes this generation lighter and faster then the outgoing E9x M3.

Wheel question

Anyone have experience refinishing wheels? I purchased a pre-owned yaz marina blue f80 a few weeks ago. I love everything about the car except with the window tint it already has, the black accents, and the gloss black 666m wheels, it looks kind of... cheap to me. The wheels themselves are literally in pristine condition. When I took delivery of the car I actually told myself “it’s pre owned, of course the wheels will be a bit curbed” but they aren’t. I couldn’t find a damn scratch on them which bums me out because I want to either refinish the wheels to the lighter “gun metal” grey finish or possibly sell/trade them. Does anybody have experience in having wheels refinished? If so, what’s the result like? Approximate cost? Was it worth it in your opinion? Any and all serious input is appreciated

I've been looking at getting my wheels refinished as well...I'm curious to see what other people have to say.
