F87 M2 (2016 - current)
BMW will be unveiling the upcoming F87 M2 and this is the place to talk about it. Are you adding one of these to your garage?

considering upgrade from F32 to F87

Hi everyone. I currently drive a 2014 428i and in the market of M2C. Except all the good stuff, do I need to beware of anything? I personally worry about the comfort, road in Norcal is not the best and lots of pot holes. The suspension is adjustable in M2C but how was it on the softest side? Does the door panel as flimsy as the F32?
Many thanks!!

M2/M2C doesn't have adaptive suspension- that is misinformation on the BMWUSA website. Both versions have the exact same (non-adjustable) suspension. Suspension feel is highly subjective, but I would not enjoy my car if I was forced to drive it on bad roads. I can't make any comments on the door panel - it feels like any other BMW door panel I've experienced.

I recently drove to a town with horrible roads patches/dips/rash/holes/bumps....and the ride was not very nice...I couldn't imagine any sports cars on those roads...certainly not the m2 it was shaking and rattling everything in the car..

So if most of your roads are like that...I would opt for a SUV and ditch the car completely... but if it's just occasional pot holes that you can avoid..the m2 is a phenomenal car.
