F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Disabling F22 pedestrian

Hi guys.

My Mum's 220d has been diagnosed with a faulty pedestrian system sensor (9318779).

I have read that you can disconnect and disable the system on other models.

Is it possible on the F22?

If so what is the process?

Many thanks in advance!

Don't have the car with me right now, but I think there is a switch on the outbound side of the steering that controls some of those sensors.

gcon,
Don't know what year car you have but on my 2020 on the left side of the steering wheel down along the area below the light switch There are two switches one for the lane departure warning and right next to it is another switch for the city mitigation and pedestrian warning. Both can be switched off. Not sure if they are automatically turned back on after the vehicle is restarted after parking. If your steering wheel is on the right side of the car then not sure where those switches would be. Possibly to the right side of the steering wheel.
