Here's my 340i after a warm afternoon in Germany a few weeks ago. Currently winter wheel/tires are on it and I have since added the black kidneys.

Do you have the track handling package? How is the steering on your 340i, heavy or light? How does it compare to the steering on the E90?

@UnReaL Beautiful ride...do you mind sharing the dimensions and make/model of your winter wheels? I'm trying to figure out the smallest size I can get, but these look amazing and would go nicely with my Mediterranean blue 340.

I do have the track handling package with VSS... never driven an E90 so can't compare but the steering is heavier in sport mode and light in comfort mode.

I have 225/45R18 95V XL Hankook Winter I*Cept Evo2 tires and IT Sofia 18x8 Wheels http://www.it-wheels.de/de/configurator/4951453/details. Picked up the whole setup with TPMS for 1,270 Eur mounted and balanced locally.

I'm no shill for Tirerack.com, but they offer 17" rims and winter tires for the 340i (with non M-brakes, I'm guessing). I'm getting the 17" alternate size of Michelin X-ice Xi3.

Oh, yeah. Here's mine. It hasn't been built yet (however, it has been assigned a VIN), and for some unknown reason, I can check out it's options online already, using one of those third-party VIN look-up sites. Check out my production date.

I just bought an Estoril blue 340i yesterday. :-) Oh man do I love this car...coming from a base 2014 320i. USAA had $8400 off until Jan 4th so I jumped on it. Steering, handling, acceleration...loving it. :-)
Estoril Blue Metallic
Driver Assistance Package
Lighting Package
M Sport package with 19 inch wheels
Technology package, didn't really want nav but like the screen for album art and other purposes.
Retail was $57.795 and I paid $49,395. Plus I got a decent amount for my trade in and did a down payment of $20k.
I test drove a 435i as well and noticed the acceleration smoothness and handling weren't as good. I thought was getting a 4 but I do like the 3 size a little better. The 4 looks very cool though.

"The devil's in the details". I just noticed in 'cardsdoc's' shot of his center console - the handbrake stitching. Two graceful curves, rather than one boring straight line. Subtle, yet elegant. (I don't know how that one slipped past the been counters.)

Nice to know you got "Refrigerant"--fourth item from the bottom. What do you suppose this refers to?

Here are some details for my build. Any thoughts and comments are welcome!

Picked it up on Labor Day.

Mein Auto: 2016 340iX, 2014 M235
Received my new 340iX early this December - 1300 miles so far, and time in the snow and mountains.

Comments:

1. Superior to my 335iX with M package engine kit! More torque and horsepower across the spectrum. Drive like a small Hipo V-8!

2. Had adaptive suspension and this has as well - considerable upgrade on the suspension - taut yet compliant.

3. Steering - tried to order Sport Steering could not configure for All season car (snow). Steering an improvement - still prefer sport steering for parking lots and slow driving!

4. Ordered automatic - last 335iX had 6 sped stick - automatics are now far superior - multiple drive programs from slow to fast!

5. All possible options ordered for All Season tire socnfirugation

Red - love the color
Saddle Brown leather
Technology Package
Cold Weather Package
M Sport Package
Adaptive Suspension
Light Kit
Driver Assist and Plus Option
Shades
Active Cruise Control (loves this)
Parking

If you'd like to participate and share your new car, please share some pictures (videos are awesome too), your build order/specs, and maybe a few thoughts or a quick review (of course if you've already created a review, go ahead and share the link).

Here is what I expect to receive:

2016 340i xDrive (US)
- Black Sapphire Metallic
- 18" 398 Orbit Grey Non-Run Flat tires

- Saddle Brown Dakota Leather with Dark Brown highlight
- Ash Grain Wood Trim

- M Sport Package
- Track Handling Package
- Lighting Package
- Driver Assistance Package
- Side and Top View Cameras (Option)

- Navigation System (Option)
- Heated Front Seats (Option)
- Parking Assistant (Option)
- Black Kidney Grilles (Dealer Option)

*Pictures coming soon! ( not soon enough )

Just a few thoughts:
First, I was a bit nervous about the color and tire combo as I have yet to see the orbit grey wheels in person. Luckily I have seen some pictures on here and they look fantastic on the silver bodies. I have not seen them on a build like mine, hopefully they compliment the sapphire black nicely.

Second, the navigation. Not a fan of paying $2k for a nav system, when I rely on Google maps on my iPhone, but the bigger screen and added instrument cluster on the dash are a nice feature and I'm sure I'd be missing out on some other minor features without the nav.

Lastly, haven't heard anything about the Harmon Kardon Sound System yet. I'm assuming it's comparable to the HK system in the Mercedes E-class which sounds great.

340i xDrive Estoril Blue
Black Dakota Leather w/Oyster Highlights
Ash Grain Wood
Cold Weather Package
Driver Assistance
Navigation
35% tint

The HK sound is amazing.... Could have better bass but I'm past that point in my life anyway

IMHO, they should have left the headlights alone. I like the pre LCI, Corona eyes better.
