Hey just joined in, was looking online for custom emblems and didn't really have any luck. Wondering if anyone on here makes them at all?

This is a BMW fan site and BMW has an iconic (hood) emblem.

how do you mean by a custom emblem ?
any screen grabs as examples would be appreciated,

be warned, some may frown, let's be honest, I got slated for putting a m badge on my non-m sport car , but with m sport packaging, despite there being legit m badges on the steering wheel, rims and jambs, LOL somone will bitch,

it's your car do as you feel,

I would say IMHO, it doesnt detract or stop you being a BMW fan, or participating in said forums

mind you the reason I bought my BMW was because it WAS a BMW, same reason I bought a Porsche, don't see the reasoning behind someone wanting to de-badge or de-logo
again as I said, to each his own

I simply want the packer logo displayed loud and proud on my car.

I bought my bmw for the car, the engine, interior, and undercarriage. The logo is nothing but a status symbol, I will gladly leave the "535" on the back as i can proudly display my twin turbos in such a way.

Lightbulb Custom Emblem

Not gonna lie... a li'l disappointed that 11 posts in, there's not a whole lotta DIYing going on in this thread. Here's one way to prototype a roundel badge...

Since OP didn't specify more vitals, I'm just going by the hood emblem common to my Z3 and X3: 51148132375 - 82mm badge. Too lazy to go pop off the kidney grills on the roadster to measure the (underside) mounting post locations and distance, but it'd be a must if this were done fer real.

In a surface modeler, some critical construction curves are laid out.

They allow a base foundation to be created

...along with additional extruded content.

Next, some trimming takes place to ensure all elements reach the same dome curvature

Check to see that there are no open "naked" edges. Looks great. All watertight. Props to the CAD jockey!

Export the precision file into an STL mesh and feed it into a prototyping machine. In this case, an incoming Form 3 printer.

A real-world prototype model is 3D printed using Castable Resin - familiar material to high tech jewelers. Look up "investment casting" on YouTube.

Casting workshop transforms the prototype into a metal part.

Some cavities can then be filled with enamel paint.. Related tangent would be to YouTube "cloisonné enameling" and adapt their techniques.

I'm going to put BMW led emblems, front and back. One can find them on the internet if you look hard enough. I don't anticipate it getting stolen. In your case, I feel there is a high probability, by fan or foe.
